The Asiatic Grass Frog or Chinese Brown Frog (Rana chensinensis) is a species of frog in the Ranidae family. It is found in China, Mongolia, possibly North Korea, and possibly Russia. Its natural habitats are temperate forests, rivers, intermittent rivers, swamps, freshwater lakes, freshwater marshes, intermittent freshwater marches, arable land, pastureland, and irrigated land. It is threatened by habitat loss. Within China, it is hunted for use in food and medicine (namely hasma).
